About Ker Cleary
I am a counselor in private practice in Eugene, Oregon, helping people with depression and anxiety use mindfulness and compassion to dissolve the obstacles that keep them from happiness. I enjoy working with individual adults and leading groups and giving talks. See my Approach to Counseling for insight into my philosophy of my work.
I have been in private practice since 1988 in various healing modalities, including Reiki, Flower Essence Therapy, and other energy medicine practices. I earned my master's degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University in 2002. I teach regular classes in shamatha (calm-abiding) meditation and occasional workshops on meditation and other topics. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I also offer Reiki sessions and classes.
